**Change in meeting time and date**

Join us on November 5th at 6:30pm to hear our next excellent speaker, Shayna Neumann! We have been anticipating Shayna's presentation because her adventure began over a year ago with NASA and the Embry-Riddle Micro-gravity team.

Venue: Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, 600 S. Clyde Morris, Diversity and Women's Center, 'C' Building, Room 412.

Directions: 'C' Building is to the left from the first intersection inside the main entrance of the campus off of Clyde Morris. Park in the large lot and 'C' Building is in the cluster of buildings labeled 'A', 'B', 'C', 'E' and 'W'.

Date: Wednesday, November 5th
Time: 6:30pm

Shayna is an Aeronautical Engineering major at Embry-Riddle. She flew on board NASA's Weightless Wonder' C-9 aircraft with Team Fu.S.S.I.O.N. (pronounced 'fusion') in July this year for the Embry-Riddle Micro-gravity Club. The project was for the Reduced Gravity Program with NASA who sponsors undergraduate students from Universities all over the country to create and execute various experiments on the 'Weightless Wonder'.

Shayna helped design and fabricate an extensive experiment to test fuel-slosh, an ongoing problem for NASA and the loss of satellites and rockets sent into space. This research is critical in solving the problem of fuel-slosh and her project was a great success.

Shayna also held the Outreach Chair position for the club. She organized numerous presentations representing NASA and Embry-Riddle to young students at area schools and the Museum of Arts and Sciences to encourage them to get into the wonderous world of math and science. Shayna will share her experience with a short video and slides of her fantastic trip.

I look forward to seeing everyone!

Please join us, and bring a friend!
